Fall Wedding Pictures

Are you planning a fall wedding?  What a beautiful wedding it will be!  We are here to offer you some advice regarding the planning of your fall wedding.

First, the location of your fall wedding is very important.  Because it is getting a little cooler outside, you may be having your wedding indoors.  This does not mean that you cannot bring the joy of the fall season to you.  Bring fall colors to your wedding and your reception.  Your wedding flowers can bring in the colors of fall.  Decorate your church or wedding location with fall colors of burnt orange, brown, sage green, burgundy, and deep red. Using mood lighting of an amber color or to look like the sunset at your reception to bring in the outdoorsy feeling.  Use pumpkins and other fall decorations.   For the place settings at your tables, think of metallic details.  Using classic silver and gold as well as pewter copper and bronze are all acceptable.  Gold or silver leaf accessories is also a great idea for your tables and place settings.  Napkin rings and framed photos can also be used.  By incorporating fall colors into your wedding theme, you will be bringing the excitement of the fall season to your wedding.

When planning your fall wedding, don't forget about your fall favors.  One example of a fall favor would be mini maple syrup bottles.  There are few things that represent fall as well as maple syrup.  This will send your guests off with a sweet thank you.  Caramel apples are another great favor idea perfect for fall.  You can have your caramel apples packaged individually and then tied with a ribbon that matches your fall colors of your wedding.  Candles are another good choice, and for fall, you can give candles in the same colors of your wedding colors.  Cinnamon is a great scent for fall.  Pumpkin spice soaps are pretty and smell great.  Your guests will love the scent as a favor.  Sunflower seeds are great favors, especially if you have used fresh sunflowers as your table centerpieces.  Candied pecans coated in brown sugar is a great favor to give to your guests.  Apple butter can be placed in small jars for your guests as a favor, and you can even cover the jars in a fabric that goes along with your fall theme.

For the bride, try some of these beauty looks for fall.  First, make an appointment with the makeup artist and hairstylist you are going to use for your wedding.  Try out some different hairstyles for your wedding.  Since your wedding is in the fall and will be indoors, you do not need to worry so much about your hairstyle as a summer wedding or outdoor wedding might be concerned about heat or rain.  Therefore, you can pretty much choose whatever hairstyle you choose for a fall wedding.  For your lips, you may want to experiment with some burgundy and plum shades for fall. Your eyes can go a little smokier at this time of year, so you can use an extra coat of mascara.  You may want to add a little bronzing powder to your skin to help your summer tan appear darker.

For your flowers, a big trend is richly hued flowers of many textures.  Many brides are choosing a wide mix of flowers that go along with their fall color scheme rather than just two or three types of flowers.  Classic flowers are still also popular for fall weddings, and these include roses, antique hydrangeas in greens and purples, deep crimson calla lilies, aubergine, copper, and forest green shades of flowers, and dahlias that come in fall colors of red, burgundy, orange, and plum.  Fall wedding bouquets are often very structured and densely packed.  Rather than leaving the stems exposed, often florists are wrapping them in velvet sashes, textured fabric, and ribbons.  Plants and flowers are also often used for reception centerpieces frequently in the fall season.  For fall, don't opt for the glass vases.  Instead, go for copper pots, silver trophy cups, gold leaf vases, and wood baskets or containers.

For your wedding dress, your options are pretty much endless.  If your goal is ethereal elegance, consider a lightweight gown that is light and airy.  You may want a fabric such as a sheer chiffon or a Chantilly lace.  You can have an a-line dress or one with a full skirt.  If you are going for a fashionista look, you a looking for dramatic necklines and a contemporary edge.  The designs can be classic or contemporary.  For a very feminine look, you will want to accentuate your curves.  Consider a mermaid silhouette, or a daring neckline.  Adding lace appliques, petite bows, and ruffles can also add femininity in moderation, but don't go overboard.  For the natural beauty look, do not go over the top.  You may want an earthy and romantic dress.  You can choose a hue such as a light gray or a creamy white.  The goal is to look sweet and romantic.  For a sexier look, you can go with a shorter dress.  This is not appropriate for a traditional or formal fall wedding, but is appropriate for a casual wedding.
